FAQ

Everything about bidding, opening and keeping your cards.

The game

What is Storage Cards?

Live auctions of storage units full of sealed packs of real graded Pokémon cards. A new unit opens about every 3 minutes. Nobody knows exactly what's inside: the highest bid takes it, and the packs are opened live in front of everyone. Every card you pull is yours to sell back or keep.

How does an auction work?
  • Each auction lasts up to 60 seconds. The tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold) tells you roughly how big the unit is.
  • The door lifts a little with each of the 3 hints: how many packs are inside, a flashlight on one pack, and an estimate of the inventory's value.
  • From 0:45 the candle is lit: the auction can close at any second. Don't wait for the last moment.
  • Every unit has a hidden reserve. The lamp on the sign turns green when a bid reaches it. Below the reserve, the unit isn't sold and nobody pays.
Is it fair? How do I know the unit wasn't changed?

Before each auction we publish a SHA-256 hash of the unit: its packs, reserve, candle time and whether it hides the jackpot. After it closes we reveal the original text, and the "Verify" button checks that it matches the hash. If we changed anything, the hash wouldn't match. The card inside each pack is drawn by the card vault when the pack is opened, not by us.

What happens when I win?

Your bid is charged and we buy the packs in your unit at that moment. They're opened live, one by one, and every card goes to your Vault. If a pack can't be bought (for example, it's out of stock), its price goes back to your balance automatically.

Can I lose money?

Yes. Cards are random: sometimes the unit is worth much more than you paid, sometimes less. Bid what you think it's worth and only play with money you can afford to lose.

Cards

Are the cards real?

Yes. Every pack contains one real graded card (PSA, CGC or BGS) stored in a professional vault and represented by an NFT on Solana. The photos you see are of the actual slab, front and back.

Can I sell my cards?

Yes. For 72 hours after a card is pulled you can sell it back instantly from your Vault for a fixed percentage of its value (shown on each card). The money goes straight to your balance.

How do I get the physical card?

Press "Claim" in your Vault and enter the address of a Solana wallet you control (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack…). Don't use an exchange address: the card is an NFT and exchanges can't receive it. From that wallet you can keep it, trade it on NFT marketplaces, or request the physical card from the vault that holds it, which ships it to you under its own terms and fees. Signed in with email, Google or X? Your account wallet can be exported to Phantom with "Export wallet" in the wallet menu.

What's the jackpot?

A grail card (shown on the home page) hides in a random unit, without warning. Nobody knows which one until it's opened. If you win that unit, the jackpot card is yours on top of your packs and we'll contact you to deliver it.

Money

How do I deposit?

Open your wallet in the top bar and deposit USDC on Solana. You don't need SOL for network fees: we cover them. Your balance is credited as soon as the network confirms. Only send USDC on Solana.

How do I withdraw?

From the wallet, choose Withdraw, enter the amount and a Solana address you control. The minimum and any fee are shown before you confirm. Withdrawals are usually sent within minutes. Money locked by a bid you're currently winning can't be withdrawn until you're outbid or the auction ends.

Airdrop points

How do I earn points?
  • +10 points for every $1 you spend on units you win.
  • +10 for every Uncommon card, +50 for every Rare and +250 for every Epic you pull.
  • Refunded packs don't count, and bots never earn points.

Points count toward a future airdrop of the Storage Cards token. They have no cash value, and the token, snapshot date and allocation will be announced before launch.
